Certifications & Compliance
The Dingyou DY+ stage chain electric hoist holds a TÜV Rheinland LGA certificate of conformity under the EC Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC (type DY+S) and a UDEM attestation of conformity for the Machinery and EMC directives, referencing EN ISO 12100:2010, EN 60204-32:2008, EN 14492-2:2019 and the EN IEC 61000 series. Copies are available on request for the model and configuration you are quoting.

What the referenced standards cover
- EN ISO 12100:2010 – general principles for machinery design, risk assessment and risk reduction.
- EN 60204-32:2008 – electrical equipment of machines, specifically requirements for hoisting machines.
- EN 14492-2:2019 – cranes, power-driven winches and hoists; Part 2 covers power-driven hoists.
- EN IEC 61000 series – electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) standards.
These descriptions summarise the scope of each standard. They are not a claim that any additional standard, class or rating applies beyond what is stated in the certificates above.
What this means for your project
The certificates apply to the DY+ stage chain electric hoist as described in the documents. These certificates cover the EC Machinery and EMC directives only; they are not a D8+ certification. DY+ is designed to D8+ principles: chain with an 8:1 safety factor, load path dimensioned for overhead holding, and an optional dual brake for single-fault tolerance. For overhead (D8+) use, specify the dual-brake option and confirm requirements with your rigging plan and local regulations. See DY+ stage hoists and D8 vs D8+ explained. Certification of a hoist does not certify a complete installation. Your rigging design, controller, supply, installation and commissioning must be reviewed by a competent person for the intended use.
When you request a quotation, tell us the exact model, capacity, brake configuration and controller so we can confirm which documents apply. See also our hoist controllers and servo CNC hoists.
How to request certification documents
- Name the model and configuration you are considering.
- List the documents your project or venue requires (certificates, declaration of conformity, manual, specification sheet).
- Send your request via the contact page or email gordon@vnlee.com.
Frequently asked questions
Is the DY+ stage hoist CE certified?
Yes. The DY+ (type DY+S) holds a TÜV Rheinland LGA certificate of conformity under the EC Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC (registration AM 50641421 0001) and a UDEM attestation of conformity for the Machinery and EMC directives (M.2023.206.C87544).
Which standards are referenced?
EN ISO 12100:2010, EN 60204-32:2008, EN 14492-2:2019 and the EN IEC 61000 series, as listed on the UDEM attestation.
How long is the UDEM attestation valid?
Until 06.07.2028.
Can I get copies before ordering?
Yes. Download the two certificates above, or request the documents for your model and configuration, including the manual and specification sheet.
Does the certificate cover my whole rigging system?
No. It covers the hoist as documented. The complete system and installation need their own review.
